A dangerous organ transplant!! (Kidding). . . . but not really.

Well my friend Timm came over today and we performed a pickup transplant on his ESP LTD M-10 traded his stock ESP bridge pickup for a gorgeous Seymour Duncan Invader! One issue we ran into while setting up his guitar was that Seymour Duncan uses a 4 conductor wire pickup rather than a 2 conductor wire. basically meaning that each coil has a coil start and coil stop wire. so to convert this to a 2 conductor wire we had to solder the red and white wires together (bottom coil stop and the top coil start) then ground the green wire and plug the black wire into the switch selector. now some of you might be asking "why doesn't Seymour Duncan just make there pickups with 2 conductor wire?" well the reason is some people like to do mods on there pickups where you would need the start and stop of each coil such as a phase inverter or a coil tap. but for this transplant it was not needed. This is a fairly simple transplant and just one of many things that you can expect at Sundial Guitars!
